NOTICE OF MEETING

The West Virginia State Fire Commission will hold its next regularly scheduled business meeting on Friday, August 3rd, 2007 at Fairlea Fire Department, Fairlea, WV.   The meeting will be called to Order at 8:30 AM for routine business. 

 

Any individual or group desiring to be placed on the agenda is requested to contact the State Fire Marshal's Office (558-2191 Ext. 203) by Friday, July 27th, 2007 for further information and scheduling on the Agenda.  Copies of the agenda will be available on Wednesday, August 1st, 2007.

 

Committee Meetings will be held at the Greenbrier County Emergency Ambulance Service, 3rd Street, Fairlea, WV on Thursday, August 2nd.  Call 558-2191 Ext. 203 for complete schedule.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC )  has a website accessible at    where  fire departments can review past information on fire studies, look up publications they print and distribute, report problems with products and search for recalls on products.

Also, there is an all-inclusive website:   that lists recalls on boats, cars, drugs and medicines, and consumer products. This one has participation from the Coast Guard,  CPSC , Food & Drug Administration, and  the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
